Meet Our Partner

WELAND International

WELAND International was established in 2005 by a team of Model United Nations delegates at Beijing University who were among the first in China to participate. Since then, through diplomacy programs, competitions, and educational initiatives, WELAND has created an international platform dedicated to promoting globalized mindsets, creative and critical thinking, community service, and leadership. In 2009, WELAND International published the book “Creating the Future Leader: Model United Nations and the Art of International Strategy and Diplomacy.” In 2022, it published the book’s second edition, creating an educational curriculum with Model United Nations and international education at its center. In the past ten years, the organization has partnered with various international relations initiatives in North America, Europe, and beyond to host conferences both domestic and international. As the new decade rolls in, WELAND International is thrilled to partner with Yale Model United Nations to inspire a new generation of future global leaders.
